Welcome to school, welcome to Schoolbag!

Launched in 2008, Schoolbag is MOE’s signature repository of school stories that are useful and relevant to parents with school-going children. Over the years, it has grown into a viable communications channel of the Ministry, exceeding 600,000 views yearly. Last year, there was a revamp to refresh the features of the website to deliver a more engaging experience, more efficiently, to busy parents.  

Highlights of the new website include:

• Interactive stories - a new storytelling format that combines moving images, visual effects and livelier displays, more commonly seen in mainstream news websites

• Parent Voices - a section for parents to zoom in on what other parents have to say about their children’s education experiences

• Educator Voices – a section to quickly call up educator viewpoints

• Primary School – a section that categorises all stories from primary schools
