EAGLES Awards
The Edusave Award for Achievement, Good Leadership and Service (EAGLES) is given by the government annually to Singaporean pupils to recognize pupils’ leadership qualities, services rendered to the school and community, excellence in non-academic activities and demonstration of Emerging 21st Century Competencies (E21CC).
Up to 15% of P4 to P6 students and 5% of P1 to P3 students from each school are selected for this award each year. P4 to P6 awardees will receive an award amount of $250 from MOE, while P1 to P3 awardees will receive an award amount of $200 from MOE.
The school adopts a stringent process in the selection of the award recipients based on teachers’ recommendations and the pupils’ CCA records for P3 to P6. P1 and P2 students are selected based on teachers’ recommendations during the Programme for Active Learning (PAL) lessons. Students can be nominated for any of these 4 criteria: Achievement, Leadership, Service or demonstration of Emerging 21st Century Competencies (E21CC).
